Terms of Business

COLLECTION & RETURN

Collection normally commences at 12.00 noon and terminates at 10.OOam on the agreed return date.

In the event of a reserved vehicle not being available on the date required, due to circumstances beyond the companies control, then The Bath Motorhome Hire Company reserves the right to substitute an alternative vehicle of a similar specification. If this is not acceptable the Company's liability will be limited to the refund of any monies paid.

Times in the contract MUST be adhered to.

ELIGIBILTY

Drivers must be over 25 and under 75 years of age of good health, and have held a full driving licence for at least one year The Licence should be free of current endorsements, if there are any current endorsements special conditions may apply Licences must be produced at the time of vehicle collection. Visitors from abroad are advised to obtain an International Driving Licence

BOOKING

A BOOKING DEPOSIT of £200is payable on reservation and is deducted when full payment is made. This is NOT refundable in the event of cancellation

PAYMENT

PAYMENT is due by cheque or debit card in full 28 days prior to collection. Booking deposit will not be valid if the full payment is late and will not be refunded.

DEPOSIT

A DEPOSIT of £500 is payable by cash or signed credit card voucher on the day of collection. A full refund of the deposit is given provided the following conditions are met.

Toilets must be emptied and clean (emptying charge £25)

Vehicles must be clean and undamaged

Vehicles must be returned on time

If these conditions are not satisfied a charge will be levied and deducted from the deposit

Cash deposits wilt be refunded after full inspection and cleaning and a cheque will be posted within 1 day of termination of the hire.

Credit card slips will be destroyed after full inspection and cleaning

The deposit also covers the insurance excess.

INSURANCE

The Motorhomes are fully insured by the Company, the Hirer is responsible for the excess of £750. This covers any damage to the vehicle during the period of hire and includes loss of equipment, damage to tyres, windscreen breakage and loss of roof lights.

Only named drivers may drive the hire vehicle.

The Hirer's personal possessions are not covered by this insurance.

DRIVING LICENCES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR ALL DRIVERS BEFORE COLLECTION OF THE MOTORHOME

CAR PARKING

Customer's cars are permitted to park free of charge in our secure compound but are left entirely at the owner's risk.

DOGS

No dogs are permitted

CONDITIONS OR HIRE

The Hirer shall not: -

i)Allow the vehicle to be driven other than by those authorized by the Company

ii)Lend or hire the vehicle to a third party

iii)Create a lien on the vehicle for repairs or any other reason

iv)Tow any trailer behind Motorhomes without the express consent of Bath MotorHome Hire Company. Subject to optional charges.

The Company reserves the right to: -

i)Change the rates and conditions of hire

ii)Cancel or refuse a hire to any person without explanation or prior warning

iii)Substitute another vehicle or cancel the hire in the event of a vehicle being returned late by a previous hirer or being in an unsuitable condition to re-let.

iv)In the event of a hirer canceling full refunds can only be given if the vehicle is re-let for the time that was booked, this will be less an administration charge

PLEASE NOTE IT IS IN YOUR INTEREST TO READ ALL THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

DONT FORGET YOUR OWN HOLIDAY INSURANCE COVER WHICH WE CAN PROVIDE IF REQUIRED.
